A 28 years old man killed his 25 years old wife, who got married in 2011, by strangling her with dupatta, soon after having sex with her. The women suspiciously went missing on the last Saturday but the matter came into light on Sunday when the family of the victim approached the police station in distress for filing the First Information Report (FIR). After the investigation based on the suspicion of the family on the husband. It became clear that Amit lal (accused) allegedly killed his wife.
Allegedly, Kanchan (victim) constantly faced harassment, soon after her marriage. Frustrated from her situation she moved to her father’s house, a month back from now along with her two-year-old. Amit Lal lured his wife to come to Hamirpur town to take money from him, and forcefully took the victim along with her to field where he first had sex with her and then strangled her with the help of a dupatta. After she died, he hid her body in the field and threw her phone into the river to avoid any traces.
The accused got arrested, later confessed his crime and presently has been detained under the relevant sections of IPC
