PROPOSED SCORING PLAN BY CBSE BEFITS THE CURRENT SITUATION: ACADEMECIANS AND STUDENTS

The evaluation criteria submitted by CBSE and CISCE for class 12 before the hon’ble

The Supreme Court of India is largely welcomed by academicians as well as students. The

report was finally submitted by an expert committee after taking into consideration several

proposals.

The evaluation criteria were proposed by CBSE and CISCE and as per the reports- the

performance of class 10 and 11 including class 12 will be weighed in calculating the result in

the ratio 30:30:40. While speaking on the evaluation criteria of class 12, Mr. Manish Sisodia,

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister said that the evaluation criteria were set

up taking into consideration the suggestions of the Delhi government to the CBSE board. It was also

suggested by Manish Sisodia that the mark sheet should be issued by the end of July.

The Board exams of class 12 were canceled amidst the pandemic. Students have been waiting

for the result assessment criteria since the day of cancellation of the exams.
