Human Trafficking Awareness Drive 2021

Human Trafficking is the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of people through force, fraud or deception, with the aim of exploiting them for profit. Men, women and children of all ages and from all backgrounds can become victims of this crime, which occurs in every region of the world. The traffickers often use violence or fraudulent employment agencies and fake promises of education and job opportunities to trick and coerce their victims.

On the occasion of national human rights prevention day, Stambh organization in Association with Rotaract club of Jhulelal institute of technology organized an awareness drive aimed to aware people about the henious crime of Human trafficking.  Young members from both the teams gathered at various Traffic signals on 11th Jan 2021, chanted slogans and Raised the issue with the help of posters and  banners. The traffic department of Nagpur city Police also supported the cause. We received huge response from the people of the city. The most prominent Locations were, RBI Square, Japanese Garden Square and Law College Square.
